Health is Wealth. How many times have we heard that phrase? And yes, I’ll let that stick up in your mind. Health, really is, WEALTH. And your diet or food intake determines MOST of your physical health and body structure. Your food intake also plays a factor in your susceptibility to illnesses. And, yes, you guessed it! Your dietary intake determines your face size. It can help you achieve a slimmer face or it can lead to your chubby cheeks and double chin.

In reality, your face is one of the first parts of your body to blow up or get fatter after a high-calorie meal. And the sad part is this: Your face is also one of the first parts of your body to be noticed by another person. Luckily, I have made a list of dietary guidelines for you to follow in order to achieve your sculpted jawline and thinner facial structure. As I said before, your dietary intake leads to a leaner OR a chubbier face. So, feel free to read on as I tell you more about the recommended diet for you and your soon-to-be slimmer face.

  • Reduce your sodium intake. You can reduce your sodium intake by limiting salt and processed foods. You should also limit your intake of junk food. Sodium intake leads to water retention which is one of the main causes of chubby cheeks.
  • Avoid diet sodas and caffeinated drinks. Not only are they harmful for your kidneys, they can also lead to water retentions, which, as said before, results in a puffy face. Also, excessive consumption of sodas can lead to kidney failure, and consequently, death.
  • Make sure you jam-pack your body with vitamins and minerals. And NO, this is not through taking lots of supplements. Yes, taking them can help. But when your body digests these foreign sources of vitamins and minerals, only a minimal amount gets absorbed. So, make sure you fill yourself up with vitamins and minerals by NATURALLY eating a variety of vitamin and mineral rich foods. These could be fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, seafoods, and lean meat.
  • Reduce your intake of full-fat dairy products and red meat. These are all filed with saturated fats eager to store themselves inside your face. They increase the likelihood of obesity and coronary diseases.
  • Avoid alcohol. This may be hard for some of you but you should avoid alcohol at all costs. Alcohol consumption increases the work of your liver which leads to the liver’s forgetting of its other work—the metabolism of your fats. This can lead to the pile up of fats in your body. Alcohol also increases your vulnerability to cardiovascular diseases and renal failure.

With all these guidelines in mind, you should have an understanding of what not to eat or drink. Enjoy your perfect cheekbones and chiseled jawline soon!
